Environmental Management and Training, LLC will be holding 2-day environmental seminars during a new
seminar at sea program. It is called "Seminar at Sea on Demand". If you have five or more persons from your

Norman Wei, Principal and Founder of Environmental Management and Training is introducing this new
"Seminar at Sea on Demand" concept. This program is exactly the same program as offered at Mr. Wei's
land-based seminars with the added benefit of having the instructor on board the ship for the entire cruise to

Rosalie Skefich, Custom Environmental Services
Custom Environmental Services is a small, woman-owned environmental compliance consulting firm based in
Santa Barbara, California. CES provides services that help clients comply with environmental laws, regulations and

Workshops
Environmental and Quality Management Work Shops
Workshops are offered to clients year around in one and two day formats. I think you will find these workshops to be
informative, useful, inspiring, and fun. Attendees will find themselves fully involved with the learning process, with group
discussions, activities and exercises, and opportunities to practice applying the concepts that are presented.
At my workshops, you will learn how to design and implement process-based environmental and quality management
systems that include the ISO9001 Quality Management System, and ISO14001 Environmental Management system,
plus TQM, CQI, SPC, 6 Sigma, Lean, and 5S methodologies. All classes are taught at your location or at a local
facility.
Workshops are tailored to your requirements. Rates are based upon the duration of the workshop and the
number of attendees. A typical workshop consists of a 4 hour session in the morning and 4 hour session in the

Environmental Management System (EMS) Workshop
This workshop has been designed to provide basic knowledge about the environment, and environmental management
systems, including the ISO 14001 standard. We'll also cover the relation between ISO 14001 and ISO9001, the
requirements of ISO 14001, how to implement an ISO14001 Environmental Management System or similar system,
EMS training and auditing, and team based processes for improving the environment.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Understand the basics of Environmental Management System (EMS). Understand the
benefits of having an EMS including an ISO 14001 system. Understand the relationship between ISO 14001 and ISO
9001. Develop knowledge of how to implement and maintain an ISO14001 Environmental Management System, or
similar system.
Quality Management System Workshop
This workshop has been designed to provide basic knowledge about quality control techniques and quality management
systems (QMS) including ISO 9001, the relation between ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the requirements of ISO 9001,
and how to implement and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, or similar system. Related areas to be
covered include: Team Based Process Improvement, internal auditing, route cause analysis, TQM, CQI, SPC, Lean,
5S, Deming, Shewhart and 6 sigma principles and methods for controlling quality.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Understand the basics of a Quality Management System, understand how to use quality
control techniques for improving quality of products and services, understanding the benefits of a documented Quality
Management System including the ISO 9001 Quality system, understanding the relationship between the ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001 standards, understanding how to implement an ISO9001 Quality Management System, or similar system.

Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Workshop
This (1) day workshop has been designed to provide basic knowledge about forest management in todays world, and
the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) management system. The primary purpose of an
FSC (CoC) Custody system is to assure that products that contain wood fiber have been harvested from a well managed
and sustainable FSC certified source for better utilization of dwindling natural resources.

Occupational Health and Safety Training Workshops
This (1) day workshop has been designed to provide the attendee with basic knowledge of occupational health
and safety programs, their key elements and how to implement a health and safety program for their organization
rules, regulations and proper application of safe working practices involved in day-to-day activity.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Attendees are able to immediately practice and apply new health and safety
knowledge and skills, including the implementation of a safety program within their organization.
